What each project actually cost
Hours worked are linked to a project, sub-project and client, with an hourly rate or a fixed fee. So you know what each job consumed and what there is to invoice — from tracked data, not from estimates made at month end.

Timer or manual entry
Start a timer when you begin work and stop it when you finish, or enter the duration or time interval directly if you prefer to log at the end of the day. Both end up in the same place.

Projects, sub-projects and clients
Each project has a client, an internal code and its own colour, so you recognise it at a glance. Large jobs are split into sub-projects, with progress derived from the hours tracked.

Filterable reports and export
Filter by person, client, project or internal code, group as you need and see the distribution across days. Frequently used reports are saved, so you don't rebuild the same filters every month.

Client records
Client details sit next to the projects: address, tax details, bank and IBAN — with the IBAN validated on entry, so a wrong digit does not end up on an invoice.

Frequently asked questions about the Projects module
Can I track project time without using the timer?
Yes. You can enter the duration or the time interval directly, if you prefer to log at the end of the day. The timer is an option, not a requirement, and both methods produce the same entries.
How is a fixed-fee project valued?
With a fixed fee, the project value is the agreed amount and does not depend on the number of hours tracked. Hours are still recorded, so you can see what the job actually consumed against what you invoiced.
Can a colleague have a different rate from the rest of the team?
Yes. Each project member can have their own hourly rate, which overrides the project's. Useful when seniors and juniors work on the same job.
Who can see a project?
It depends on the visibility you choose: a public project appears for anyone with access to the module, while a private one is visible only to the members added and to the project manager.
